On a picture-perfect spring day, an exuberant crowd of family, friends, and Beloit College community members cheered graduates as they walked across the stage in front of historic Middle College.

The Martha Peterson Prize, named after Beloit’s seventh president, goes to seniors who excel in academics and contribute to the Beloit College Community. The recipient of this year’s Martha Peterson Prize is Farah Tolu-Honary’24.
“She is an inspiration to her peers,” one of her professors says, “generous in her collaborations and capaciously adept at navigating challenging situations.”
The Warren Miller Blue Skies Award honors graduates who shine good cheer and grace on the Beloit College community. His smile, contagious laughter, and the endless energy he shows for every Beloiter has earned Franccesca Mamani’24 the 2024 Warren Miller Blue Skies award.
“Her uplifting presence is a constant reminder to be real, be kind, and give grace, all while striving for and achieving excellence,” says one nominator.
They came to Beloit from all over the world. Every one of our graduating seniors has left their mark on our college, and now they’re heading back out to make change of their own.
We can’t wait to see where they all end up.
